Your Sixth Sense – Introductory Seminar
This “Ted Talk” modelled presentation is customized for your needs. School PAC’s, teachers, corporations, non-profit organizations and personal empowerment groups designed for women and girls can benefit from this seminar. It is held within your venue and may be followed by a brief question and answer period should scheduling allow. It is an introduction to the basis of all our programs, as well as presenting an outline of personal boundaries and the various responses to uphold them. We demonstrate key target areas for physical self-defence and offer simple ways to keep safe and aware of your surroundings using your six senses.
Our goal is to leave you with an introduction and awareness of self-defence, leaving you excited and interested to learn more about personal protection.
This workshop will strengthen and benefit growing girls. It includes an outline of personal boundaries from family to strangers and the various responses to uphold them. We address the relationship between independence and responsibility. You will practice key target areas for physical self-defence, discovering simple ways to keep safe and aware of your surroundings, with an emphasis on defending an attack from a stranger.
Our goal is to leave you more aware, feeling confident and empowered with a basic knowledge of physical self-defence.
90-minute Self-Defence Workshop
We believe this workshop is essential for teens and above. It includes an outline of personal boundaries from family to strangers and the various responses to uphold them. You will practice key target areas for physical self-defence and offer simple ways to keep safe and aware of your surroundings, with an emphasis on defending an attack from a stranger.
Our goal is to leave you feeling confident, empowered and with a basic knowledge of physical self-defence.
2-hour Advanced Self-Defence Workshop
Personal Protection against a stranger or acquaintance
Age: 13 +
If you have taken the 90-minute self-defence workshop or are in need of a refresher for your skills, this workshop is for you.
This exhilarating, interactive workshop includes an outline of personal boundaries and how to defend them, with emphasis on strangers and acquaintances. We demonstrate de-escalation techniques and exercises with key target areas for physical self-defence whether you are standing or on the ground. In this workshop you will discover your personal power and the tools you have to defend yourself.
Our goal is to leave you confident, aware and feeling empowered with basic skills to defend yourself in multiple situations. The huge smile on your face is a bonus!
Wise Woman Workshop 55+
Age: 55 and up
This workshop will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone, while honouring individual ability. We have fun shedding light on what we are capable of at any age and engage you with practical self-defence techniques.
Our goal is to leave you feeling confident and powerful with basic skills to defend yourself in multiple situations.
3-week or 5-week Student Program
(60 or 90-minute session each week depending on class schedule)
This course is designed for young women ages 10 through 18, as an integrated part of the school physical education program or Sex Ed program. It is a five part holistic approach to developing confidence and awareness while creating and defending personal boundaries.
Specific Learning Outcomes:
Keeping a balanced Self: Developing mental, emotional and physical capability creates compassion, empathy, tolerance, self-awareness and confidence. We aim to build this in our students so they can experience the benefits of these attributes by building healthy relationships and staying safe.
Awareness through education and personal experience, prove that circumstances and events beyond our control can occur in our lives, how we respond to them is what shapes and defines us. These circumstances or “opportunities” can affect us positively, negatively or not at all. Throughout this course we use personal boundaries and responsibilities to explore that we are not powerless in our lives. Shifting “victim mentality” to Survive and Thrive.
Our goal is to leave students feeling confident, aware and empowered with basic skills to personally protect themselves mentally, emotionally and physically, within multiple contexts.

Kicks for Kids Self-Defence Class
Age Groups: 3-5 and 6-9
This workshop introduces kids to what self-defence is all about and the where, when, why, and how we use it. We address the relationship between independence and responsibility while learning about awareness and boundaries. Games and exercises provide a playful learning environment to this class.
Our goal is to introduce personal awareness and boundaries in your children, while helping them discover their own sixth sense and what self-defence skills they have.
Private Self-Defence Lessons
This one-on-one personal self-defence session ignites your inner fire and will bring a new appreciation for your personal power and capability. We discuss your goals, help you challenge yourself and expand your knowledge of personal boundaries and self-defence.
