Cory is a life long martial artist and holds a 5th Degree Black Belt (Godan) in Shotokan Karate, as well as a 5th Degree Black Belt (Godan) in Daiwa-Ryu Aiki Jiu Jitsu. He has trained and taught competitive kickboxing and held the Canadian Muay Thai Association Super Middleweight BC title in 2011. He is the founder and head instructor at Hastings Martial Arts in North Saanich B.C. Cory kindly “suits-up” for some of our self-defence classes, allowing the woman to unleash their full force and new found skills. This training provides the benefit of a moving human target and gives a new appreciation for what we are truly capable of.
